MELISSA facilitates all Waybetter’s contractual arrangements and also functions as our de facto HR chief. She joined Waybetter after practicing law in a variety of capacities. Most recently she was an assistant county solicitor for the Howard County Office of Law. Before that, she served as assistant attorney general for the Maryland Office of the Attorney General. She’s a magna cum laude graduate of the Villanova School of Law.

Away from Waybetter, Melissa and her husband, Rich, stay busy with kids Noah, Nathan, and Claire. There’s not an ice rink, lacrosse field, or baseball diamond in the state of Maryland they haven’t been to.
