CLAY is a master of all trades and a jack of none.
See what we did there?
He not only has the education but the practical experience to back up this statement!
Clay has a bachelor’s in biology and a master’s in data science from Loyola University Maryland where he completed a capstone project on predictive modeling for various stages of the enrollment funnel.
Post-graduation, he spent two and a half years in an admissions counselor role for Loyola University Maryland personally recruiting prospective students. After mastering the human side of the admissions process, he moved to the operations side where he became the Director of Undergraduate Admission Operations. In that role, Clay independently managed Loyola University’s Slate instance, as well as all other technical and operational aspects of the admissions process.
At Waybetter, Clay will leverage his extensive data, technical, enrollment, and Slate backgrounds, while managing Slate projects for Waybetter partners.
Outside of work, Clay enjoys creating sports data visualizations, running, playing soccer, cooking, traveling with his wife, Liz, and playing chess—ranking in the 95th percentile globally on chess.com for speed chess.
